     Her body was interred, at St. Cecilia's Cemetery at Exeter, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania 18643. Jennie was born on 15 January 1875, at Wyoming, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania 18644, 5th Street. She married Matthew Brady circa 1890.¹ She married Raymond Griffith on 15 July 1917 at Pittston, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania 18640.¹ Jennie died on 8 July 1931 at 1725 Murry Street, Forty Fort, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania 18407, at age 56.

     His body was interred, at St. Cecilia's Cemetery at Exeter, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania 18643.
      His godparents were John McCarty and Brigetta Neary.

      GAS EXPLOSION BURNS THREE MEN
      An explosion of gas occured uesterday morning at #8 shaft of #9 Colliery, Pennsylvannia Coal Company and three men were burned.
      The men were putting up brattice when they ignited a pocket of gas in the Marcy vein near #3 shaft. The men burned are: James Donaldson, Avoca, fireboss, burned about face and hands. Able to walk home.
      Matthew Brady, miner of 5th Street, Wyoming, age 45, married, badly burned about face and hands. He was taken to Pittston Hospital. Condition not serious.
      Jospeh Tooro, Elizabeth Street, laborer, burned about face and body. Taken to Pittston Hospital will recover. On page 18 of the 24 Feb 1915 edition of the Wilkes Barre Record
      MINER'S BURNS PROVE FATAL
      The burns received by Matthew Brady of 140 First Street, Wyoming, two weeks ago by an explosion of gas in #9 colliery, proved fatal, as he expired at the Pittston Hospital yesterday morning. The other two men James Donaldson, a fire boss of Avoca and Jsopeh Toor, a laborer for Mr. Brady have both fully recovered. Deceased was 45 years old and was a native of Mayfield, Lackawanna County. 22 years ago he was married to Jennie Hess of Wyoming and since then he ahs made Wyoming his home. Mr. Brady was a member of St. Cecillia's Chruch, Wyoming. His wife survives him - also the following children: Mrs. Flyod Carpenter, Jospeh, Cecillia, Bernetta, Agnes, Loretta, Thelma, James and John; one grandson. Also the following brothers and sisters, Timothy, Hugh, Jams, Dennis and Bernarad of Mayfield, Mrs. J.W. Dennis of Schenectady, Mrs. Ann Riley of Scranton and Miss Mame Brady of Mayfield.       FUNERAL OF MATTHEW BRADY
      One of the largest funerals held in Wyoming in sometime was that of Matthew Brady which took place yesterday morning form his home, 145 Fifth Street. A high mass of requiem was celebrated in St. Cecillia's Church at 10:00 o'clock by Rev. Father Quinnan who also delivered a funeral sermon. There was a large attendance of friends at the church and there were many floral offerings. The pall bearers were: Joseph Callahan, James Mullany, Francis Mullin, Thomas Lyons, Frederick Skeelds and John Brady. Internment was in St. Cecillia's Cemetery, Exeter.

Matthew was born in February 1865. He was baptized on 26 February 1865, at at St. John the Evangelist Church, at Honesdale, Wayne County, Pennsylvania 18431, in the Roman Catholic faith. He married Jennie A. Hess circa 1890.¹ Matthew died on 23 February 1915 at age at an unknown age .

     She married Floyd Carpenter.¹ Edna was born on 7 October 1893. Edna died in August 1961 at age 67.

     Nora died at age at an unknown age . Nora was born on 4 March 1895.

     Joseph was born on 16 December 1896. Joseph died on 18 September 1980 at age 83.

     She married (?) Jackson.¹ Bertha was born on 7 June 1898. Bertha died on 11 November 1983 at age 85.

     Bernetta died at age at an unknown age . She married (?) Callahan.¹ Bernetta was born on 7 June 1898.

     Anna died at age at an unknown age . Anna was born on 21 August 1899.

     Agnes died at age at an unknown age . She married (?) Kelly.¹ Agnes was born on 14 March 1901.

     She married (?) McGrady.¹ Loretta was born on 6 November 1903. Loretta died on 27 May 1982 at age 78.

     She married (?) Bush.¹ Thelma was born on 21 October 1906. Thelma died on 4 January 1964 at age 57.
