They were brought here by John's uncle, Martin Cosgrove, who had a store in Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania. They lived in Mount Carmel a short time, and then moved to Mayfield, Pennsylvania for a year or two. Later they moved to Carbondale Township where they built a house and raised a family.      He married Catherine A. Harvey. Benjamin was born on 29 November 1857. Benjamin died on 12 April 1923 at age 65.

     She married Benjamin Shapley Stonelake. Catherine was born on 24 December 1853, at Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania 19092. Catherine died on 6 March 1928 at Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania 19092, at age 74.

     John Homisak, Pittsburgh, died Sunday in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, after an illness. His widow is the former Mary Mordovancy, formerly of Olyphant.
     Born in Dickson City, he attended Dickson City schools. He moved to Pittsburgh 50 years ago and was a retired machinist for Westinghouse. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Church, Pittsburgh.
     Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Marie Frankel, Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Joan Naehu, Honolulu, Hawaii, and attorney Theresa, Pittsburgh; three sisters, Mrs. Helen. Con- forti, Long Island, N.Y., Mrs. Mary Mizerak, Lincoln Park, N.J., and Mrs. Justine Petronchak, Eynon; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
     He was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael, Peter and William; and a sister, Ann.
     The funeral will be Thursday at 9 a.m. from the Turko Funeral Home, 404 Susquehanna Ave., Olyphant, with Divine Liturgy at 9:30 in SS. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church, Olyphant. Interment, parish cemetery, Peckville.
     Friends may call today, 7 to 9 p.m.¹.² His body was interred on 16 June 1994, at SS. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery at Peckville, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania 18452. His funeral was held on 16 June 1994, at at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, at Olyphant, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania 18447.
