Born in Dickson City, son of the late William Leo and Mary Collins Tully, he resided in Olyphant most of his life. He was a graduate of St. Patrick's High School, Olyphant, and attended the University of Scranton. He was employed as a contractor in residential construction. He was a former member of the Rotary Club and the Knights of Columbus. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Olyphant, and its choir.
Also surviving are five daughters, Maureen O'Hara, Clark's Summit; Ann Feeney, Blue Bell; Mary Liz Butler, Dunmore; Kathleen Uhranowsky, Chinchilla; and Joyce Tully, at home; three sons, Charles G., Olyphant; and Brian and Leo, both of Clark's Summit; five brothers, Gerard and Joseph, both of Olyphant; Cyril, Scranton; William, Justus; and Bernard, Dickson City; two sisters, Audrey Durkin, Dickson City; and Mary Wilsey, Justus; nine grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Robert; and a sister, Eileen Coble.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Michael Wargo Jr. Funeral Home, 307 Lackawanna Ave., Olyphant, with Mass at 9:30 in St. Patrick's Church, to be celebrated by the Rev. William D. Campbell. Interment, parish cemetery, Blakely.
Friends may call today, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A wake service will be conducted this afternoon.5

MRS. LEO TULLY
Susann M. Gongliewski, Peckville, became the bride of Leo Tully, Olyphant, in a ceremony Saturday at Sacred Heart Parish, Peckville.
The birde is the daughter of Marlene Gongliewski, 843 E. Scott St., Olyphant, and the late John Gongliewski Sr. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tully Sr., 229 Sanderson Ave., Olyphant.
The Rev. Michael Polish officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony.
The bride's gown of lustre satin was tyled with a portriat neckline and gaunlets accented with sequined and pearled Schiffli lace. The basque waistline was highlighted with a peplum and bow above a skirt and cathedral-length train hemmed with scalloped Schiffli lace. Her tiara of Austrian crystals and pearls released a pouf and double-tiered veil. She carried a bouquet of dendrobium and cymbidium orchids accented with pearls and ti leaves.
Marianne Petschke, Cromwell, Conn., was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Nancy Bonavoglia, Olyphant, and Eynthia Reynolds, Dickson City, sisters of the bride; Nancy Gongliewski, Peckville, sister-in-law of the bride; Kathy Tully, Olyphant, sister of the bridegroom, and Kris Collins, Jessup.
They wore teal blue formal sheath gowns.
Vita Tully, Dunmore, and Katie Tully, Olyphant, nieces of the bridegroom, were junior bridesmaind and flower girl.
Brian Tully, Clark's Summit, was best man for his brother. Ushers were Charles Tully, Olyphant, brother of the bridegroom; Vincent Talluto, Dunmore; Ray Kovaleski, Carbondale, and Steve Hricenak, Old Forge.
John Gongliewski III, Peckville, and Ryan Reynolds, Dickson City, nephews of the bride, were junior usher and rine bearer.
A reception followed at Genetti Manor, Dickson City.
The bride, a graduate of Bishop O'Hara High School, received a degree in computer science at The Pennsylvania State University. She is controller at DK Trading Corp., Scranton.
The bridegroom, a graduate of Bishop O'Hara High School, received a degree in electronic technology at DeVry Technical School. He is project engineer for Anemostat Systems Group, Scranton.
Following a cruise to Hamilton Beach in Bermuda, they will live in Peckville.2
